Meet the team that makes Washington Brown a leader in the industry.
Tyron began his career at Washington Brown in 1993 as a wide-eyed intern looking for a break in the industry. 20 years later, he is now the majority shareholder in the business.
Over the past 20 years, Tyron has helped transform Washington Brown into one of Australia’s leading companies in tax depreciation reports. He is regarded as one of the industry’s leading experts in property tax depreciation and is regularly quoted in the media, is asked to speak at conferences, and has published numerous articles on tax depreciation for consumer and business publications.
Tom is a co-owner and Director of Washington Brown. He has over 10 years experience in the construction and property sector managing a vast array of projects from single dwelling residential, mixed use developments to infrastructure and government projects.
Tom graduated from the University of South Australia. Despite his proud South Australian heritage, Tom is a keen Crows supporter in the AFL! Sorry Port!
Jeff’s background spans more than 20 years in the building industry. Jeff is responsible for site inspections to assist in the assessment of progress payment services provided by our NSW office.
He has extensive experience in all areas of the construction industry including residential, industrial and commercial projects. Jeff currently teaches quantity surveying at TAFE NSW and has also taught at the University of Technology Sydney.
Yen joined Washington Brown in 2006 and has over 5 years experience in quantity surveying. She is responsible for the delivery of cost planning services provided by our N.S.W. office. Recent projects which Yen has been responsible for include a $75M mixed-use development at Meadowbank, $18M Industrial warehouse project in Alexandria and a $6.5M extension to All Saints Grammar in Belmore.
Originally from Malaysia, Yen moved to Australia in 2003 to continue her education and now has a bachelor of construction.
National Sales Manager
Craig joined Washington Brown in 2003. He is responsible for the generation of new business, co-coordinating marketing strategies, currently heads up 4sale4investors and has been responsible for the development and integration of customer management systems within Washington Brown.
Craig’s background involves over 15 years specialising in customer service, sales management and business development.
Project & Sales Officer
Michelle has been with Washington Brown since 2008 starting as a casual, front desk coordinator. Holding a Bachelor of Business & HR, Michelle has progressed from the day-to-day responsibility for client and account administration to move into a dual role of Project and Sales Officer. Michelle is a vital member of Washington Brown team and is dedicated to providing superior service through her constant communication and friendly approach.
Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator
Kristina joined Washington Brown in 2009 as a Administration Assistant. As a shy 19 year old “greenhorn”, Kristina set about to develop strong working relationships with those around her. April 2010, Kristina took on the key role of Client Co-ordinator and shortly after in 2012, took on the role as the Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator. Her current role consists of managing inbound and outbound Sales, assisting in marketing strategies and managing the administration team.
